YOOOOHHOOOO!!!
BIG SUMMA BLOWOUT!!!
Today I shall do what I REMEMBER of Mustique. I’ve been to too many places, they all blend into one! Okay, the first time we went to Mustique was with Lune. We got there and mum snorkeled per usual. As soon as she got in the water she said, "WOW! This is the clearest AND best snorkeling I've ever seen!" She was WRONG. VERY wrong. Who knew mothers don't know everything? When I got in the water to check it out, I had my expectations VERY high, and I almost deflated with disappointment. It was sorta murky and the snorkeling? Pffft. Just rocks clung onto the seabed. Very boring. Mum also said, "That's because you haven't seen a Nurse shark yet!" Oh, yes, that's right. I've forgotten to mention mother is the ONLY ONE to see the nurse shark that was chilling under our boat. Mum saw it TWICE in the bay (Which, TBH, is getting a little suspicious) and no one else saw it. Okay, lets focus on the bay now! The beach was rocky, but we couldn’t swim to it because it had a shelf of rocks surrounding it, too shallow to swim over. For some reason, I remember Mustique to be mostly cloudy. We didn’t go on land much, but the first time we did it was cool. There were rogue tortoises EVERYWHERE. “Oh, look, a tortoise!” *Touch the tortoise* “OMG, another one!” *Walk over to other tortoise* “Wow, so many!” *See’s another one* “They're multiplying like Rabbits in new leaf!” (Inside joke with me & Nat, don't ask.) Yeah. They were all over town. Then we went on a walk, (With Lune) around the mangroves were me and Ava were promised that we can swim, yet we passed SEVERAL beaches and me and ava stopped at each one saying, “Can we swim?” and GUESS WHAT THEY SAID?! “No you may NOT swim.” What typical Parenting. Anyway, we went around the mangroves (we gave up, but NOT THE POINT!) and we walked to a bird watcher thing. Fun fun. But there was bird poop everywhere. So not fun. But fun. Virginie (Mother in Lune) wandered off, and we all (semi) freaked, frantically running/walking to find her. We found her, turned back and yeah. THEN ME AND AVA GOT TO SWIMMMM!!! It was a walk/swim because parents don’t have the decency to wait for their children to swim, unless THEY ARE swimming as well. There were also literal ISLANDS of conch shells (speaking of conch shells, Liv has a conch shell, that she can officially play! Cool, right? I can also do VERY loud conch shell. I did one and it echoed in the HUUUUUUGE bay. Be impressed.) The second time we went to Mustique basically everyone on Tu Meke had a really bad cold, but I had it the least so I got to play with Nikau. That's basically it. The NEXT time, we went to the bay with Maxim and that was fun. Me, Lilo, Tim (Tintin) & Nat went swimming A LOT. We met a charter boat called Oligato (or something like that...) They had to kids called Jack & Grace and the Parents were called Jonty and Helen (Yes, another Helen). They were all very nice. We swam with them & eventually Tim joined, but Lilo hung out by herself on the boat. I guess she was shy. Tim had made a new found love of making bracelets and anklets and she made them for basically everyone. That was cool. We snorkeled and found TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO sharks. That's right! Dos! TWO! YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAY! On the way back, it was to long of a swim for me to bother, so dad picked me and Jack up on the board and we were towed back on the paddle board! Then later Nat & Tim joined us. Then Lilo. We had a great time slip and sliding on our paddle board. We put soap on the bottom so we could slide, put it on an angle and woosh! We slid down! That was fun.
Weirdly, two days after they left, we saw the EXACT same boat but they weren't on it! Welp! I must go now! Also, if you are reading, Jonty and Helen, could you please reach out on: naullsy@hotmail.com
Thanks!
Ciao Ciao all!
